Plantartica

Do you already know Plantartica? This quirky laboratory by Kunst in Zicht (Art in Sight) is coming to the de Hoge Rielen in 2021!

Plantartica is a laboratory in which all your senses are stimulated. Come and discover nature and collect your own plants.

This artistic activity invites you to play and experiment with the scents and colours that nature has to offer.

Inspired by artist Peter De Cupere, we set up a fragrance hose and come up with new plant names based on the scent. Afterwards, we investigate which colour you can get from which plant. Is it possible to make paint from flowers? We will find out together during this artistic activity!

All our experiments come together in a work of art.
