The world of bees

Did you know that bees live on the de Hoge Rielen domain?

During the workshop, we playfully learn what the life of a bee is like. Where they live, what they do and why they are so important.

To find out, we will work together during this workshop just like a real bee colony. This is the only way the bee colony can gather enough food to survive the winter.

This activity consists of various small assignments and games, through which you will find out what is so special about these animals. All games and assignments are linked to a specific task in the life of the bee: caring for and guarding, collecting, cleaning and building.

When the weather is nice, we will also take a look at our unique beehive, which is behind an artistic bee-viewing wall.
