The Hoge Rielen is located in the Province of Antwerp, at the crossroads of the three boroughs of the municipality of Kasterlee: Kasterlee, Lichtaart and Tielen.

The domain can be reached by public transport, by bicycle or by car.

Those who opt to come by public transport or bicycle, are at an advantage, after all, we are a car-free domain. We can only applaud sustainable journeys to the de Hoge Rielen!

Access by train

Take the train to Tielen station. It is 2 km from the de Hoge Rielen. Tielen is a stop on both the Antwerp-Turnhout and Brussels-Turnhout lines.

Route on foot from the station to the de Hoge Rielen

Via a pleasant path (about 2 km), you can walk from the Tielen train station to the de Hoge Rielen. The footpath follows the Grote Routepad - Streek-GR Kempen (large route path - Campine GR region). The route is marked with yellow-red signs.

Access by bus

There is a limited bus connection to the de Hoge Rielen.

  •  Line 200: there is a ‘Lichtaart Hoge Rielen’ bus stop at the main entrance of the domain.
  •  Lines 305 and 493: at the rear of the domain (Kasterlee) there is a ‘Kasterlee Ossengoor’ bus stop. From there, it’s a 2.5 km walk to the de Hoge Rielen reception area.

Lines 200 and 493 only run on school days in the morning and evening.

The de Hoge Rielen is located at junction 32 of the Province of Antwerp cycling network. You can find the domain on the cycling map of the Kempen.
