In 2020 we obtained the Quality Label for Youth Centers from the Council of Europe. As a labeled centre, we want to fully promote the themes of democracy, the rule of law and human rights, both in our the way we work and in our activities.

Youth Exchange

De Hoge Rielen encourages young people to engage in international exchange on human rights through a youth exchange.

StudioStar

StudioStar is een Europees project, opgestart vanuit het netwerk van het Quality Label for Youth Centers van de Raad van Europa, waarbij jongeren van verschillende landen een creatief proces doorlopen en hun stem laten horen over mensenrechten.

During this photo editing workshop, we create our own story in small groups and let ourselves be inspired by children’s rights.

Human rights in your backpack

During an active walk through the de Hoge Rielen, the group is given the subject of human rights as the basis of fun assignments: how do you experience human rights and how well do we actually apply them?

JINT - SONAR toolkit

Do you work with young people in their spare time? This toolkit sets you as a youth worker on your way to making human rights visible and tangible in your youth work practice.

Council of Europe

We build networks with other youth centres through the European Platform for Youth Centres and have obtained the Council of Europe Quality Label for Youth Centres.
